I appreciate the insights here. I remain unconvinced that the pro-rata model is unfair, but I'm looking to better understand its shortcomings. A niche artist might have the subscription fee of their fans (who listen to them exclusively) shared with Drake. However, the same is true in reverse, and I think "will come out in the wash".

1. Is the frustration simplified like this?

- In pro rata, attention earns money.

- In user-centric, connection earns money.

2. And does it negatively impact the revenue of the niche artist with superfans?
